Tarteel is the practice of reciting the Quran in a slow, melodious fashion while practicing tajweed. Tajweed is an art that guides a reader to pronounce every letter with perfection following a set of rules.

Our qualified instructors bring courses right into your living room with live and recorded seminars for your convenience. Our engaging courses help you through your reading journey step by step with specially designed curriculums for beginners to intermediate students.

We do not turn anyone away due to financial reasons.
Every scholarship we award is funded entirely by donors, which means a student who could not otherwise afford tuition sits in the same small class, with the same teacher, as everyone else.

Tajweed Mastery
Intermediate Every rule of tajweed, theory and practice, with a teacher who holds ijaazah in the recitation of the whole Quran. One-on-one training runs alongside group lessons. -
IQRA
Beginner For non-Arabic readers. Develop your recitation for clarity, accuracy, eloquence, and flow, using the Qaida Noorania, in classes capped at a four-to-one ratio. -
Workshops
In person Weekend tafsir and tajweed intensives, and the Surah Fatihah National Tour, hosted at your masjid or school. -
Hafsa Quran Society
Hifz To inspire and facilitate the recitation and memorization of the entire Holy Quran by Black American Muslim women.
